fire and books

October 30, 2009

I’ve been busy.  No really…see!  This is the busy season for a photographer.  Its also the busy season for a UPSer.  We picked the wrong careers!  Well, wrong if you don’t like the flexability of setting your own hours, spending lots of time with your family in the off season, and all the other benefits that come along with having awesome jobs.  Anyway…lots of field trips with the preschool lately!  We went to the fire station AND the library recently.

I thought it was a fun way to get the fire fighter and all the kids in the same shot while he was talking to them, lol.

pumpkin patch field trip

October 23, 2009

Wednesday we went to the pumpkin patch with the preschool.  The boys had such an awesome time!  We were a bit late so I don’t have any pumpkin pictures for you but here is everything else we did!

Pumpkins and pie

October 19, 2009

I’m still alive!  I’ve been getting blog update requests so here we go!!  Things have been slow around here lately for a variety of reasons…we had a very last minute move to Davis 2 1/2 weeks ago and just barely got our internet set up.  Day 2 of the move I came down with suspected h1n1 that turned into for sure pneumonia.  All this doesn’t make for much blogging fun.  But now I’m back!  Friday we went to Apple Hill for good times and warm memories.

The boys LOVED riding the train.  It was kinda pricey so I stayed back to take pictures.

Just after the train pic a flock of geese landed in the pond.

I love all the fresh veggies and fruit we can buy up there.  The highlight of the day?

Brussel spouts!  I haven’t seen them still on the stalks before.  Too cool!  We’ve tried to grow them in the past but the chickens kept chomping them.

We ended the day at Kids Inc.  They have a great pumpkin patch…(I hated my color on these so I did a funky edit…which I still dislike but whatevs)…
