Pizza makers!

September 27, 2009

The other day we decided to let the boys make pizza.  OK…technically they didn’t really make the pizza.  We got one of those premade crusts and sauce and let them do the rest.  They had a lot of fun though, so I think we’ll do it again.  I have to get my grandfather’s pizza dough recipe so we can really do it from scratch though.

last camping trip of the summer

September 21, 2009

We had a great time again though.  We paddled around the river in our little inflateable raft…went on a mini hike…and generally had a blast. Take a look:

Last time we went the campers next to us brought back pizza.  Aaron thought it looked so good that we did the same this time.

We also ate apple sauce with forks…real roughing it!

Bellies full of Jellies

September 18, 2009

Wednesday we took a tour of the nearby Jelly Belly factory.  The boys and Isabella weren’t too into it but Anderson had a fabulous time.  We think he may be a tour guide when he is older.  Anyway, cameras weren’t allowed on the tour so here are some shots outside.

Let me preface this by saying that this is the type of picture you’ll typically get when a three year old is eating Jelly Belly’s

Handsome right?  Anyway, here are the kiddos enjoying their special treat outside the factory.

Why you buggin?

September 4, 2009

We’ve already established that my babies are cuter than yours.  Well they are cooler than yours too.  I mean seriously…they request to listen to Run DMC whenever we get in the car!

Take a look at Job’s vocal styling:

He freestyles a bit in this one:

And yes, I do realize that in the last three posts the boys wore the same shirts. They were clean each time! I swear!

State Fair

September 4, 2009

We are out of order here, I know.  I already recapped wednesday but now its time to go back…way back…all the way to monday.  This was before Aaron left for his backpacking trip but after the baseball game with the Garbers. So what did we do Monday?  Went to the state fair of course!

They had this Kalidoscope thing going on this year.  The boys got a kick out of them.

The boys are starting preschool!  Well, a parent nursery school in fact.  They are actually going to the same place I went when I was their age.  Yesterday they had an open house…their official first day of school starts tuesday!

Don’t jump!

September 2, 2009

A long overdue post.  I have TONS of pictures to share…in fact I’ve spent the last hour editing personal pics instead of working on my client proofs whose deadlines are fast approaching.  Aaron is on his yearly backpacking trip however so I have a ton of spare time in the evening with nothing to do but edit or watch mind numbing tv.  Too bad the computer isn’t in the family room.  Anyway, I am going to be break this post up into several entries so keep coming back over the next few days.

Last saturday we went to Fresno to visit family.  I took the boys to the zoo.

Afterwards we visited with Aunt Karen and Uncle Dave.  Job enjoyed Dave’s tomatos.
