A colloquial term used in digital photography to describe the habit of checking every photo on the camera display immediately after capture.

Camping pictures as promised. We had way more fun than I expected. Almost as fun as real camping.
Job was eating and doing his typical “ignore mommy” routine. He finally gave in and looked at the camera.

The nice thing about this campground is that there is a hot springs nearby.

All set up

Smores!

This afternoon after replacing a few sprinkler valves (I’m handy) I ran into this little guy.

This afternoon I had fun with water. It took a while to get my set up just right…and I broke a wine glass…but all in all this was a pretty neat experiment.

Then I discovered the awesomeness of black and white.

Yesterday we headed to the city for the annual street party known as the Bay to Breakers. It actually starts as a legit 12k race that turns bananas once the drunks and crazies roll out of bed. Our friends Spence and Dave always try to get us to come to come out…they finally suceeded this year because Dave was running in honor of his brother who passed away late last year.
The most exciting thing for the boys was riding on the BART. I love shooting inside of BART stations by the way…I would love to bring in some off camera flash.

On to the race! There were a lot of people there.

See those yellow balloons in the background? They should be avoided at all cost! When you see them coming they are indicative of a certain outfit…

Or lack thereof…

Hey look! There’s Dave!

More crazies!

Yeah, thats the pope on the left. He stood on this step stool all day.

Many of you probably wonder if we fell off the face of the planet. I never did make a formal announcement. The good news is that we are still around. The better news is that we went to Disneyland! We had a lot of fun last year but this time was 10 times better! Part of it was because the babies are tall enough to ride all the roller coasters so we weren’t restricted as to what we could ride on. They loved splash mountain (aka “the log ride”), rode space mountain over and over again, and even went on the tower of terror (aka “the scary up down ride”) twice! Job was a blast to ride with…he’d throw his hands over his head and make comments like “you sure bout this?”…”Whoa!”…and “Whee!” I am so happy we have adventurous little boys! Anyway, on to pictures. There are a ton for me to show…I just couldn’t pick a few. These are a mix of pictures by me and Aaron’s point and shoot. Enjoy!!
The boys were thrilled to meet the man himself…Buzz Lightyear. This was definitely the highlight of the trip for them.

Meeting Mickey was pretty cool too.
Most of the trip was spent like this:

Or like this:

The pixar parade over in California Adventure is always fun to watch. The boys get so into it!

As always, Job loved the carasol.

Jerah was hesitant (He rocks the Tower of Terror but is afraid of this? Funny!)

Obligatory sword in the stone shot.

These signs on the rides cracked me up for some reason.

One of my favorite rides was Midway Madness in California Adventure. Its Toy Story themed midway games in 3D!

Luckily we didn’t have too many of these:

Aaron was trying to warn me that there was a drop ahead.

Teacups!

This was a pretty big deal…we are those mean parents that don’t give our three year olds candy…so when they do get it…joy!!

Finally, Jerah crashed out back at the hotel room.

Thanks for sitting through our vacation photos!!
