This morning we went up around putah creek to do a bit of hiking/exploring. We are prepping the boys for when the camping season starts (they are already nagging us!).

This one is from friday…blackmail!!

Its been gorgeous again here lately. The days are longer as well which means evening bikes rides after Aaron gets home from work. Last night we headed to a near by walnut orchard.

This afternoon we tried a father/son session with Aaron and the boys…afterall, he technically was the winner of my penny competition. However…this was the general mood of the day. Oh well!

Last evening we went out to this big field down the street from our house to run around. The lighting was gorgeous and the weather nice. The boys had a blast running up and down some big hills. It was a good time. I’m dying to drag a couple out here for a sunset engagement session. The sun sets right behind those hills in the back ground. Add a funky chair and a little off camera flash and we’d be golden! Maybe I can convince some friends to model for me. Any takers?
It is hard to take pictures of Aaron…he always scowls at me. But look! Caught him looking all mellow and handsome.

Oh, and here is margaret from earlier in the day.

Big post today…thought about seperating it into two but then decided against it. This afternoon we took a bike ride to Vacaville. Total miles round trip was 27.25. It was the perfect day for it too…nice and sunny but not too warm. The scenery was also gorgeous…lots of orchards, hills (a few kicked our butts), and flowers.

My favorite part of the day though were the cows we passed. So hilarious and full of personality.

I just love it when the boys “read.” Hearing their interpretations of their favorite books is hilarious!!
