This dress is made to be worn by boys. No really! Its also pretty old…like 100 years old. My grandfather wore it (he is turning 76) and I guess his father wore it. My mom really wanted to get a picture of the boys in it. The only way we could get them to sit still was to give them a recorder to play with. They may look girlie but they could still kick your ass!

Sorry guys! Give me a few more days. I sent my lens in to Canon to have my focusing problems checked out. According to their website its finished and shipped, although they haven’t given me the tracking # yet. Thursday they said I should have it within 4 business days. Soooooo…I’m hoping I’ll be back on track by Wednesday.

I am on a brief hiatus from my camera. I should be back in about a week.

I’ll probably pull something from the archives when its not so late.

And the Job flying

I met up with Miss Shannon today while she was in town and we tag teamed an engagement shoot. It was sooooooooo nice shooting adults who stay still! I have so many more proofs to offer than in the past. My lens is acting like crud though so I think I’m going to send it in for repair…that will mean no pictures again for a bit I’ll give you fair warning though. Anyway, here are a few faves from today. I’m not even close to done proofing yet. I told myself not to stay up too late and here it is past midnight. I’ll have to finish tomorrow and will post some pictures of the kiddos playing from today.

The shoot I had planned at the Arboretum a month ago finally happened today. I’m not done proofing but here are a few faves so far!

He is so stinking cute!!

One of my closest friends got engaged recently. I arrived to work to find a vase of flowers with a note asking to be in the wedding party. Yea!! I’m not a product photographer so this isn’t the best but here is a picture of the gerber daisies she sent.

I took some close ups of the daisies themselves but am feeling uninspired tonight, so I’ll try to post them tomorrow. In the meantime, here are the babes I promissed.
